Students commend BUK on Hostel Maintenance

Students of Bayero University, Kano (BUK), have commended the efforts of the University on the maintenance of hostels, environment and toilets describing it as “recommendable.”

Speaking to TheMedia, a student and an occupant, Nura Rabata, said that “the cleaners do pick refuses,
sweep the floor and wash the toilets twice a day. I know of Unijos where they clean once in a day and a times they don’t come, in fact BUK is a home”.

In his own words, another occupant, Tiamiyu Monsur, said “with my own little experience, I grade the workers good as they always make sure they meet up with two-times cleaning in a day, though I don’t know how many times they are assigned to carry out the responsibility”.

An Occupant at the female hostel, Aisha Musa, said “I have been to Unilag, and their hostel maintenance is incomparable with that of BUK. I commend their effort on the maintenance of the toilets and recommend the provision of supervision to the usage of the toilet”.
