LEADERSHIP FAILURE IN KWARA STATE

LEADERSHIP FAILURE......

In spite of the fact that our state is identified as having potential  human and material resources that  guarantee greatness , most of the People are still wallowing in abject poverty, no basic amenities for people to feel the presence and impact of the government and no job opportunities for the youths to grow and develop.

No doubt, the survival of a state depend on the good it's leadership can bring to bear on the people. Unbiased mind will definitely agree with me that our leaders in kwara state are total failure.

The ability of the leadership to lead and coordinate must be gained from the detachment of the office of the
leadership from the occupant of the office. The leader should not be the office, but the office must be the
leader. In kwara state, our political leaders are like Lords and demigods that can do and undo. 

In Kwara state today, our leaders have lost it all, mind you, I am not writing to discredit anyone but the reality on ground is what I am stating.

Kwara state government can no longer provide public services: our hospitals (if we have any to call hospitals) are worst than governor's “mere consulting clinics”, public Educational services in kwara state are not offered any more.
Our Primary and Secondary schools  are not better than playgrounds where the children of the common man go to play until their teachers are tired and find a way to send them back to their parents. Don't blame the poor teachers that the government refused to pay their salaries as at when due but blame the government that culled looting than serving.

Our roads are death traps, all the major bridges in the state have collapsed . People are getting involve in accident almost everyday as a result of drivers trying to dodge potholes. What is our government doing for God's sake?.

In conclusion, we need to note that even if ours is a completely failed state through the actions and or inactions of our leaders who feel theirs is a guaranteed for their  continuous existence in power even if they do not deliver good governance, we can stand beyond all odds to challenge them, we can change them through our votes that I believe is priceless.

This is not all about any political party but about destruction the people in Power are causing us.

The time is now to challenge the statues quo .
