Philanthropism: The Mass of Giving by Akinkitan Joel

Scientists have proven that nothing is empty. A cup of what is still not empty but contains a considerable amount of oxygen and when heated, it is still not empty. Therefore, matter has its definition as anything that has weight and occupies space. This definition was been propounded some hundreds of years ago by Isaac Newton, I stand to be corrected. I guess he was able to discover that nothing truly is empty. It is either you are giving or withholding, lying or saying the truth, hungry or full; you are never devoid of anything at anytime. Even the worst of you probably passing through now is because you have forgone the best of time.

I want to actually take us round the globe of philanthropy. People always thought that giving is not expedient or mandatory. The germane point remains that, you must give. If you must succeed in life, you must give up the worst and get hold on the best. You give up laziness to get dutifulness; give up lethargy to get energy. I see some who die and suffer in ignorance when they should have taken cognizance of those things. Despite the 'caveat emptor' caption in the supermarket and other stores, people still allowed themselves to be emptored and caveated. I hope you are not among the umpteen that are grinding in rejection.

What we are discussing today is rather different from the conceptions of the masses about Philanthropy. You can't fully fathom what you have nor given yourself to doing. It's OK to give but why, how and what you give do really matter. Some give and still experience insipidity in themselves. Well, I'm not to bordered because they didn't actually give with the right mind and motive. They also didn't give the right things. Lastly on that, no echt reason for their givings. When something is done haphazardly, then, there is no considerate satisfaction one would derive from it. I want you to right now take the inventory of the way you have been giving and ask yourself whether you have been giving as it is expected of you. You are doing yourself more harm than good if you give with the wrong heart and mind.

You give to get. Let me be more logical and pragmatic. Let's assume you have some money on you. Someone else needs some money. You heard about his need and then ddecided to offer help by giving him the money required. You are happy that you gave and he is happy that someone has lifted his burden. He will never forget that act of kindness. You may forget. Someone day, when you are in dire need, not necessarily money, he will sacrificially offer the same as often as you need them. Because you have given then you are getting the good back as many times as you need them. We suffer ourselves because we are unable to see the details of helping others. The more we look into this aspect the less we see. The bible says that, those that have much save nothing and those who have nothing lacked nothing why? Because they were given to sacrificial giving. Giving gives you fulfillment, pleasures, respect and honours that you have been longing for all these long years. Be challenged and stirred up to give. Someone needs it right now!
