Fashion Dos and Don'ts for plus-size people

Back in the days, being on the slim side was considered elegant and the 'hour glass' shape was the desire of every woman. But in recent time, the sing song has been "if you have you can flaunt it".

Women endowed with mounds of flesh in various body complements can now proudly step out in fashionable attires that stand out in the crowd. Being big could be beautiful if you know how to show off your endowment in style.

Do's & Dont'ts

  • Wear long jewelry pieces as they will lengthen the look of the neck.
  • Wear long straight skirts/dresses.
  • A big size bag can make you thinner.
  • You can wear 2 or 3 chunky bungles as it will make your plump wrist look slender.
  • Wearing long dangly earrings will lengthen the look of the neck.
  • A wedge heel looks great, however stout your legs are. Also high heels lengthen the looks of the beg.
  • Always try to match shoes with your outfit colour or the nearest shade of your dress.

Don'ts

  • Avoid bright colours, as bright colours visually enlarge the object.
