UPROOTING THE TREES AND DESTROYING THE FRUITS OF CORRUPTION. 






The Present trees of corruption in Nigeria was planted by General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, watered by late General Sani Abacha, looked after by former president Olusegun Obasanjo and it's fruits was harvested by former president Goodluck Jonathan. 


The year 1999 was the beginning of the cleaning up of the mess and evils perpetrated by the military governments and General Olusegun Obasanjo was the one chosed to head the cleaning up. 


From 1999 to 2003, almost all the governors of the 36 state were either General in the Nigeria army or former this or that served in one capacity or the other under the military administrations. Do you think it's a coincidence?, "No", its never a coincidence but arrangement by the powerful corrupt  military leaders to clear all their mess and atrocities. That was why all the corruption, act of cruelty and  flangrancy perpetrated by the military governments were swept under the dustbin of history during the reign of President Olusegun Obasanjo. 


The big Mansion that was regarded as the biggest in the whole of Africa , the building that sheltered all the corrupt past leaders and also served and still serving as orientation camp for looters, the building called "PDP" (the political party used by the military to hide all their evils and habituate  new crops of criminals that we have today) .



The 16 years spent in power by the PDP government was the worse ever in the history of the country. The years full of Conspiracy, hypocrisy, confederacy and cabalitocracy. The years that gave birth and reared the new set of criminals, looters and gangsters that we have today. 


PDP has gone beyond the name of a political party but synonyms to Thief,looter and criminal. The corrupt fruit of PDP have spread across all the political parties, that's why the thieves and criminals are United regardless of their political differences and ideologies. 


The present administration under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari promised to uproot the trees that produced the fruit of corruption  but it's very unfortunate that nothing have being uprooted after two years, what we are experiencing are new set of corrupt trees with beautiful flowers but producing nothing but thorns and poisonous fruits. 


Don't be deceived by their antics, politicians are not your friends. 


I want to use this medium to appeal to all sensible Nigerians to stand together to uproot all the trees of corruption in the next election. I believe we can do it if we see beyond personal likeness or hatred for a leader or political party and do away with our own selfish and parochial interest.
